Good column. Sorry to offer this, but the more xtians who die of Covid, probably the better for the rest of us. I gave up on God/church when a group of members of the church i attended carried on a phone chain planning how to get rid of our pastor, who was a nice guy, but unable to establish his position as the Head Man in Charge. They finally ran him off. I don't blame him for leaving. It is the Brutal South.
Xtianity in the pews is a fraud and a sham--except for a few smaller local churches that I often hear good things about, and their people smile a lot. I get along right well enough with "do unto others......" And as for "life after death...." I say "get a life."
