The Netflix adaptation of Joe Hill’s graphic novel Locke & Key might be in the same category as some of these films: long-played, supernatural suspense that draws you along in painful anticipation. (Granted, we’ve only watched one episode so far, but it was engrossing.
Somehow I *always* freak out at little things way more than the big things. I guess that's a weird sort of helpful? P.S. The Wicker Man is one of my favorite classic examples of utopia creepy.

Been planning to watch this, read the graphic novel series awhile ago and enjoyed the heck out of it.
